Graphology

Postby Twinkle on Sat Nov 07, 2009 12:11 am

What do you think of graphology? I think there must be something to it, it’s not like a superstition, I suppose your mind guides your hand when you write.

Better half knows something about graphology (just for fun) and when he saw my setlist signed, he said: “Aha, they may be twins, but their personalities are different, you see”. “Oh really?” I said, amused.  I have to say he knows how important the Procs music is for me, but he doesn't really know much about them. Plus, I am hardly able to tell him anything about the conversations I had with C&C there, I would feel somewhat embarrassed, dunno why

“Yes, really” he said, “this one (pointing at Charlie’s signature but not knowing whose) is the most romantic and intuitive one. And this one (pointing at Craig’s) is more pragmatic, and probably more concise when he speaks. I bet he is the one who has in mind the practical aspects of it all”

 :D Do you think he is right?? I laughed for a good while.

Sounds interesting though. Would be a good start of a conversation next time you'll meet the twins. Just ask them :)

I would actually guess it the other way around, since Craig seems to be the poet, at least in terms of writing the majority of the song lyrics.

I agree I think that Craig is the romantic one, "Like A Flame" says it all

And of course, there was the time at the Mariposa festival when we overheard Craig joke that he was the Italian brother

Their personalities are different indeed. You say Craig is the Italian one? Well, we'll have to manage some slow dance and see

Wellll. Some good friends are extremely successful songwriters, on emotional issues, l u v, and all, and I would have to say that these particular men are as intuitive as fence posts. But interestng idea, the signatures. I've always wondered how each one of them get what they do out of their names, I mean, hellooooo.

OK, now I have to admit the embarrassing fact: I don't know whose signature is whose. I always assumed they were writing initials, or possibly hieroglyphics.

Sometimes I have managed to work it out, but I'm not sure now...

Look at my avatar... oh well, it's too small! I'll try to put it here, let's see if it works. Each one of them signed on his image.
They look good on this pic, btw :)

Cowal, they do tend to sign next to their own faces. :P
I thought you had all this stuff figured out long ago. My world is a bit shaken now to think of you as being unsure on important C&C matters :?

Speaking from experience and as a person who has several styles of handwriting I don't hold with all this graphology stuff. They will by now have a very practiced and well used signature each. Their handwriting in everyday life will prob be nothing like their sigs. A graphologist would need to see their other writing too I think!

Agreed. We might call these their autographs rather than singnatures. I think I told you guys about being in a medical office when the woman told the big country music star she needed his signature, not his autograph.
But Craig's does make one wonder
Wonder how many times over the years.
