Well, some day all of us will know why a sexy red dress is suddenly important....

The single finally arrived!! :D :D

Naturally on a day that I didn't get home until 10:30, so I have only played it a few times.

LWY is obviously great, but I'm really enjoying the other 2 songs as well. Really nice contrast with the big sound of LWY. You just can't beat acoustic versions for enjoying the boys' voices.

Thank goodness! I still can't believe it took so much longer for your cd's than mine but I guess Vancouver is almost half way round the world from Ottawa.

The other two songs are good, although I find "A woman's place" a bit of a mystery. I think I have most of the lyrics now, I e-mailed W14 asking them to put the lyrics on their website. A very nice guy sent an e-mail back saying it would "infringe copyright" for them to do that :? He did send me the lyrics for "Life With You"...the only one I had NO problem with...still it was nice of him to do that for me :)

Should this be the new apparrel for the attendance at the gigs?? Last year, I think we went with the green T's "Haver Girl Role Model" with the ring. I red dress or maybe a RED T?

Deb

My cd's are still backordered I guess. October 25 sheesh. I'm going out on the weekend and will look for them.

Haven't heard anything about Oz or NA. But tell me this, those who know about these things - is it usual to release an album just before a tour? Like, if they know they're going there, would they likely wait until a month before to release it?

Still checking the site on a daily basis for word on a North American release. It's not as if I'm not willing to import, but by now this has become a matter of principle. We have to agonize through new releases from the insufferable Britney Spears and the impenetrable Radiohead so it seems as if we're also entitled to some good music once in a while.

There should be a rule where if you comment musically on the political issues of a foreign nation you have to release the album in that nation. Sounds pretty arbitrary but I'm desperate here. Not to mention that I agree with the Reids that we can be a pretty crummy country sometimes. Especially if the sales figures for Restless Soul is what's posing the distribution problem here.

Hey Joey

Over here in Canada, I just noticed on Amazon.ca that the release date is October 16, 2007. No idea why it is delayed. Originally they said Sept 15. So I will have to wait patiently.
