Well its official Massone has taken us to the brink of extinction, the council has now started legal proceedings to get their £280k, it is also understood that Inland Revenue are owed a six figure sum, and we are still without official electricity.

I was over in Scotland the other week and that was about the point it had gone to when I returned. Seemed like the Council weren´t putting up with this guy for much longer, but I´ve heard nothing since.

Nothing in the online papers, so you imagine this creep gets another chance. The Dumbarton chairman sounds like he wants the club, but Massone doesn´t want to sell up.

This is what happens to Scottish football when the governing body is all split up into at least 3 seperate organisations and they dive at the first bam to shake a wad of notes at them.

The SFA should be setting standards, not trying to follow others. But if they do insist on following others, they wouldn´t do much worse than copying the KNVB´s methods of running football.

The Dutch know what they are doing about footy, other than romantasing about past glories.

Get a grip Scotland or there will be many more Gretna´s to come.

Thats us in liquidation, final decision tomorrow, unless Massone is willing to give up his share in the club, the administrator will tell the league we cant fulfil our fixtures.

In a whirlwind 2 days, the SFL voted in favour of the proposals put forward by the prospective owners.

The new consortoum finally convinced Massone to go for £50k, and we now have a board consisting of Neil Rankine, Gordon McDougall and Ged Nixon plus a member of the trust. A great combination.

Great day.

I do think it's amazing to have a huge crowd like that singing SoL. I do. Really. It's just that I'm accustomed to fans at a game singing "We will, we will ROCK YOU." You're such a cultured bunch in Scotland.
