[quote="justthejob"]Fave procs tune of the mo is Wages of Sin

This has been one of my favourites since I first heard the new album,
and I hope and I pray that Wages of Sin is played at Leeds on Friday.

Notes & Rhymes seems to be a definite part of the set, so fingers crossed for I Know as well.

Oh! I saw Three Dog Night playing on the beach at Clearwater Florida. It was fantastic. There are two songs I keep going back to to keep me going and they are I'm On My Way and The Tide is High by Blondie. It just makes me so happy.
If you don't get on this board, I'll come round yer 'ouse and stamp on all your cd's

C & C have mentioned Paolo Nutini in a couple of interviews - so I bought his newest album
Sunny Side Up. I like every song on the album.

Well, I went to see him in August, because he was from Scotland and all, and a music friend wanted to hear him. He certainly has a following, mostly women. They knew all the words, which I never understood because he holds the mic so close. It was interesting, I would imagine his recordings would be good. And he's dang cute.

Just watched the latest episode of "Stargate: Universe" and the lead off and end song was "The Worst Day Since Yesterday" by Flogging Molly. Love the song. Need to find their CD.

Live, he doesn't exactly go by the book. He "emotes" a bit much for me. New Shoes I knew, but it was almost unrecognizable. If he would sing standing up rather than leaning over (?), it might turn out better for the audience. Well, shoot, the audience loved him. It was better when he played the guitar.

My two latest favs, my radio station plays these two old ones, one uplifting and fun, the other, um, down lifting. Classy songs. Love them to the max. Please don't look at the yukky videos.

My tribute to Eric Woolfson, the voice and songwriter of Alan Parsons Project, who passed away last wednesday. I am playing their music again these days and my song of the moment has to be Eye in the Sky (and all the rest in that album). Rest in peace Eric.

Thank you for that Twinkle. Hubby got listening to some APP too (after reading your post).

And on a brighter note, Damien Dempsey wishes us all a Happy Christmas
