Anything can happen!!! I am a true believer of that. I loved seeing Man U get trounced by Liverpool...snicker snicker (with glee)....and then my Chelsea winning their game, what a super soccer Saturday it was!!

My daughter came home from University for the weekend for her Birthday celebration. She did an 80's theme, great music, lots of food, drinks and had everyone stay over. I warned them that I would be up early to watch the game....9 a.m. over here...so sorry if I woke them up too soon after a nights drinking.

found this information out this week

Aston Villa wear claret and blue because their founder/early owner was Scottish and a Rangers supporter and wanted blue tops but his wife liked Hearts so they agreed to make them blue and maroon. Probably explains their lion badge as well.

it turns out that Paulines favourite team have the roots of their club linked with  HEART OF MIDLOTHIAN FOOTBALL CLUB  , who happen to be arch rivals of Proclaimers fav team hibs, i must say i'm disappointed to hear this

For goodness sake, please put the apostrophe in between in the e and the s.

Dougie, you really are a wind up merchant.

Wikipedia is a site where people who think they know everything post and people who believe everything look at. *sigh*

Back then when photo's and film were still in black and white, my local football club had black and white strips. But it seems when all changed into colour, they got coloured strips as well 8)

Just joking here
