and how do you feel about Tony Mowbray being the new Celtic manager, Dougie?

A very different style of football to MON.

Your all looking forward to the new season while I just hope I have a team to support for the new season, electricity and phones cut off today for bills not paid, a suspended manager that didnt deserve to be suspended, best players being auctioned off for pennies.

The club is in dyer straights just now, and is looking very likely that it wont be around for next season, Massone has destroyed the club, its reputation, and its little positive reputation it had left.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that Livi.

Hope things turn out well, although not looking good as you say.

Our current chairman is a crackpot, he makes Romanov at Hearts look sane.

He is currently blaming the fans for the dire straights at the club. He has constantly had the tactic of dividing the support, and all he has achieved is to alienate the majority of the support, we have fewer than 100 season ticket holders, and through the donation facility set up they have raised a grand total of £159.

He had an offer from someone else to take over the club, however he refused him and then claimed to us he had had no offers for the club. The man is determined to stay until there is nothing left to support.

How long has he been at the Club?

What past connection does he have?

1 Year, he bought the club off of previous chairman Pearse Flynn for £1, Flynn had tried to run it to the best of his ability (sometimes controversially) but debts were rising so he sold the club.

He has no previous connection, the interest in the club came from his buddy in the Livi Dream consortium, Tommasso Angelini, who is married to Davie Hay's daughter, Davie Hay was one of the best Livingston Manager's in our history, and is currently football consultant, and was in charge for the last two games of the season.

In December of last year, Massone sacked manager Roberto Landi after just 4 months in charge, IMO deservedly, Landi has still not recieved his severance pay. Hegarty was appointed manager after just a week, 2 games from the end of the season he was suspended for supposedly arranging a walk-out over the fact that Massone was asking/forcing Graeme Robertson, our very successful youth coach, to resign. This issue has still not been resolved so we cant appoint another manager yet.

Belated thanks to Pauline and all at Villa from me and all at SAFC. Would have sent this earlier but I've just stopped laughing. And before anyone berates me for this, I know we had a pathetic season and were lucky there were three worse teams (four actually) than us, but we have had so much grief for years from arrogant Magpies that I'm apologising to no-one for enjoying the moment. Those Hitler videos on YouTube are great, as is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1LVEKfSFiw

Richard, it was a great pleasure and one we'd been looking forward to.

Maybe we can catch up next season. Hope you and your family are well.

Thanks Pauline. It would be great to meet up next season. I'm on holiday at the moment - it's the first Haver post I've made from Narberth library in Pembrokeshire. Actually I'm not far from HAVERford West.

Will post some more when I return to 'easier internet access land'.
