must say, i am looking forward to this coming season, think Alan O'Brien could be a great signing this year. JC seems to be going for pacey players.

Pauline, any signings at Villa Park yet.

Hi Dougie and football fans

When does the new season start? Both for Scotland and England?

Hi Debs.

officially kicks off on 4th August, but Hibs first game is a derby game against Hearts so that is likely to be moved to the Monday so it can be shown on TV.

Is there much coverage of the Under 20 football world cup being held in Canada from this weekend. Scotland have qualified, a few hibs players will be playing.

A few out but no new ones in yet.

Watch this space, Owen, Ronaldinho, Reo-coker,Beckham (don't believe all you've heard about him moving to the States) - the list is endless of all these players that want to join us - we're just having to weedle out those that we want and those that we don't. It takes time don't you know.

tsk, don't listen to Dougie Debs, the English Premier League kicks off a week later on 11th August, although like the SPL we are all waiting for the tv companies to come in a rearrange our fixtures.

Oh good grief - NO!

It's that other lot that Pauline doesn't like - the sty dwellers. Those that are owned by porn people and with a new Thai investor.

Up the Villa.
then
Up the Hibees
then
Up the Gas heads.
